getting started should not feel this hard

flowgenius was created by Deanna and Roanne to build science-informed, accessible support for people who struggle with overwhelm, executive dysfunction, and follow-through.

why we made flowgenius

We built flowgenius because we saw the same problem again and again: People cared. People were trying.

People knew what they needed to do.And they still could not start.
Not because they were lazy. Not because they did not want it badly enough. But because follow-through is harder when your brain is overwhelmed, overloaded, or stuck. We were tired of watching people blame themselves for a support problem.
So we started building something different. Not another productivity tool built on guilt.
A support system built on science, accessibility, and real life.

Roanne brings a systems-minded, science-rooted perspective to flowgenius, with a background in biomedical engineering and a deep belief that support tools should be both smart and accessible.

She helps translate complex problems into thoughtful systems that are grounded, practical, and built to help people function in real life.

Deanna is a systems thinker, storyteller, and builder who cares deeply about making people feel seen, supported, and more capable.

She brings the emotional truth of the problem into the work: the shame, the overwhelm, the wanting to do better and not knowing why it still feels so hard.

She helps shape flowgenius so it feels human, affirming, and actually useful on hard days.
